I lived at number 27 from 1958 until 1964. We bought the house from George Bennett , uncle of the author Alan Bennett. Next door lived the Radcliffe family. George, the son, was the local 'Board Man', who followed up cases of children who failed to attend school regularly, on behalf of the Local Council Education Board. At number 25 lived Miss Hoole and her brother. Don't know who lived at number 31.
