Description: 17th April 1951. View showing tram no.22, on route 9 to Dewsbury Road via the Corn Exchange, at the Gipton terminus on Gipton Approach. Wykebeck Valley Road is seen running from left to right in the background. The tram, a Chamberlain built between 1925 and 1928, carries an advertisement for Cephos, 'for headache and influenza'. User Comments: Name: sid cohen Comment: The trees in background are hiding killingbeck hospital. Cephos powders were used as a cure for influenza and were reliable cold cure.
