Town Street, tram no.99
24th February 1953. Tram no.99 is seen at the junction of Town Street, Half Mile Lane, Leeds and Bradford Road and Stanningley Road. On the right is the Pavilion Cinema, showing the film Rainbow Round My Shoulder which starred Frankie Lane and Billy Daniels. The tram, which has an advert for Vernons Pools on the side, is a Chamberlain built between 1925 and 1928.
