Description:
Undated. View of Dewsbury Road showing the Crescent Cinema on the left. The properties to the right are two businesses owned by Charles Edward Parfitt, the Elite Chocolate House at number 293 with living accommodation built above, and far right, the Crescent Garage at number 295. The New Crescent Cinema, which opened in 1921, is advertising a film called Forget Me Not starring Bessie Love which was released in the U.S.A. in 1922.
