High Royds Hospital, Bon Accord

High Royds Hospital, Bon Accord
14th March 2007. View showing part of the former High Royds Psychiatric Hospital during its conversion to a residential village. This building, known as Bon Accord, was originally the Chief Attendant's house; it has also been used for drug addicition studies and more recently was the Facilities Management Office.

User Comments:

Apparently, Bon Accord was a Scottish football team that were narrowly beaten 36-0 by Arbroath in 1885!
