Description: 14th March 2007.
View of the former High Royds Hospital, originally the West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum, during its conversion to a residential village. This shows the block which includes the Ingleborough and Whernside wards, nearest the camera, and the Birkdale and Wooldale wards on the left. This block, at the side of the hospital that was originally female only, was one of the first to be converted into apartments. The road at the front has been named Ingle Lane.
