View of the site of the former High Royds Psychiatric Hospital taken during its conversion to a residential village. Originally opened in 1888 as the West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum, it finally closed its doors in 2003. Here we can see the ground being levelled off in prepartion for new buildings.
