Image shows an invitation from The Mayor and Mayoress of Morley, Alderman and Mrs. William Law Ingle, to a garden party at their home, Morley Grange on Thursday 24th July 1913. The Garden Party was in honour of the Prime Minister, Herbert Henry Asquith when he returned to his birthplace of Morley to accept the Freedom of the Borough. 3,500 school children gathered in the grounds of the Secondary School to welcome him.
