Comment:
IN 1958 I MET AN OLD EXCENTRIC WHEELER DEALER NAMED (MORLEY BILL) WHO LIVED ON CHURWELL HILL IN WHAT HE CALLED " MORLEY GRANGE". THE BUILDING WAS A VERY LARGE STONE BUILDING. WITH A GARAGE AT THE REAR AND TO THE SIDE.A FEATURE INSIDE WAS A VERY LARGE SNOOKER TABLE AND ROOM, ALTHOUGH CLUTTERED WITH MESS WITH HARDLY A WALK AROUND. THE WHOLE HOUSE WAS VERY UNTIDY AND CLUTTERED,INCLUDING CAR PARTS.HE USED TO DRIVE AN OLD AUSTIN PRINCESS WITH ROLLS ROYCE MOTOR IN AND TINKER WITH CARS AND MOTORBIKES(I BOUGHT MY FIRST MOTORBIKE FROM HIM). HE TOLD ME HE HAD INHERITED IT ALL FROM HIS FATHER. I REALISE THIS IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE INVITATION BUT JUST WONDERED IF IT WAS OF INTEREST AND ALSO IF ANYONE COULD DETERMINE THE AUTHENTICITY OR THROW LIGHT ONTO "MORLEY BILL" OR THE HOUSE HE CALLED " MORLEY GRANGE"
