Description: Undated.
View of Tingley Co-op in Bradford Road which was built in the 1940's. In the background part of Country Baskets is visible, a large cash and carry outlet and importers of artificial flowers, home decor and giftware. The business is housed in the former Ardsley Mills, a worsted spinners run by Thomas Ambler & Sons and which was a main employer of the area. Many women went from school to work in the mill.
