Description: Undated.
View of a red brick, one storey building housing Tingley Mini Mart, left, and Headlines Hair Salon on the right. The businesses are numbered as 178 and 178a Westerton Road respectively. Prior to 1967 the building was occupied by the old West Ardsley Co-op. The manager of the co-op was, at one time, Harry Lockwood. After closure of the co-op the premises were bought by the Strickland family who built the house shown to the left of the mini mart. The right-hand side of the building, which is now Headlines, was converted to a washerette by the Stricklands.
