Is this the approach route from Wortley Road to the Upper Armley Station?

I think this is the path between Wortley Road, leading to Armley Station. I used this path many times as a short cut but it was not quite so overgrown then. The stone wall may be the garden wall of the semi-detached houses in the Station Road area. After crossing Station Road you would walk up a hill to the station. However, the path would carry on in the direction of Carr Crofts and then to Colton Road. Many years since I was in the area.

It's taken looking back up towards Wortley Rd, there is a slight bend to the left in the path in the distance, the railway is on the left.

OMG ! I wish I had a penny for every time that I walked along 'Station Walk' there and back to Whingate school from Modder Place ! 4 times a day !!! Also the amount of times that I have walked across the top of those railngs on the left hand side is nobody's business, phew ! it makes me cringe now to think that I could have impaled myself on them at anytime, but as a youngster I must have been fearless ! At the beginning of the path at the station end it was quite a slope and we used to slide down it in the winter when it was icy ! They were such happy times and I miss them dearly !!
