Adel Woods, Seven Arches
Undated. Postcard view of the Seven Arches Aqueduct, built in 1837 to carry the water supply from Eccup Reservoir over Adel Beck on its way to the city centre. After 24 years it became inadequate to meet the needs of the city and was abandoned, but it remained in place and became a popular tourist spot in the middle of Adel Woods.
