Woodlands Close and St. Michael
2009. View from the A650 Bradford Road looking east across fields towards houses on Woodlands Close, and beyond these, to St. Michael's Parish Church.

This is one view of the green part of the village which due to planners pressure may be filled with housing in the near future. It's strange that a little open countryside of this type is to be sacrificed by Leeds council officials when they readily resisted Wakefield council from their proposal in building their new rugby league stadium for Wakefield Wildcats. Stating that the area due to be used for the build was diminishing the green border between the two city boundaries.
