Undated. A view taken sometime around the early 20th or late 19th century of Station Road at Town End, looking east towards the station. Though no cars can be seen the road is busy with people and horse-drawn vehicles including two with large loads of hay. On the left is the edge of the terrace of Bank Row. Next to this, the white building is occupied by Charles and Harold Seaton, coal merchants. On the right is the Miners Arms public house.
