Oakwood Clock, watercolour painting by Pete Lapish
c1953. Tram scene at Oakwood Clock, a watercolour painted by Leeds artist Pete Lapish. It shows passengers boarding a tram on route 3 to Roundhay, left. The other tram is a number 1, destination Lawnsood. The Leeds trams of his boyhood are favourite subjects of Pete Lapish who has now retired to Scarborough.
