1931. View shows the Second Team of Garforth Cricket Club in 1931, posing with the Riley-Smith Shield which they won in consecutive seasons from 1928 through to 1932. It was taken outside the pavilion at the Church Lane Cricket Ground. Players pictured, from left to right, are: back row - 3 unknown, then Sidney Stead, Maurice Gent, Joe Glover, unknown, George 'Codge' Kilburn, Alvera Pickersgill; middle row - Harold Siberry, Billy Gent, John Goodall, Wilf Kilburn; front row - Ronnie Backhouse, unknown.

My Great Uncle Herbert Ward played for the 1924 winners (Micklefield?) and I have his medal, engraved with his name in 9ct gold
