View of the Hark To Rover public house on Spen Lane, seen from the junction with Ghyll Road. Now boarded up and offered for sale, the Hark to Rover had been opened by Cameron's breweries in 1963, having been converted from a parade of shops built in the 1950s. Previously a Hark to Rover pub had existed further down Spen Lane near the junction with Abbey Road, beside a row of cottages also known as Hark to Rover.
