Ardsley Working Mens Club, Canteen Committee
11th April 1912. Image shows members of the Ardsley Working Mens Club Canteen Committee. The photograph is badly damaged but it is possible to see that most of the men are holding items of food like large loaves of bread and plates of butter. Some are holding large earthenware jugs. They wear flat caps and waistcoats, some with watch chains. The two women with tea cloths are clad in white aprons. On the left there is a tiny child in a coat and matching bonnet tied with ribbons beneath her chin. In the background the club premises are visible.
