Image shows the front terrace at Lotherton Hall, designed between 1902 and 1903 by landscape gardener, William Goldring (1854-1919). He worked in collaboration with Mrs. Laura Gwendolen Gascoigne who had a strong interest and input in the design of the gardens at Lotherton Hall. Colonel and Mrs. Gascoigne inherited the house and estate in 1893. Photograph by the Yorkshire Post newspapers.
