Description:
1962. View shows a group of extras preparing for a scene in the film 'Billy Liar', taking place on an area of cleared ground off Green Lane. The film, adapted from the book of the same name by Leeds writer Keith Waterhouse, was directed by John Schlesinger and starred Tom Courtenay in the title role.
