1962. View shows a group of extras preparing for a scene in the film 'Billy Liar', part of which was shot in Leeds; this scene was filmed on a site off Green Lane where demolition of terrace housing was in the middle of taking place. Graffiti for the film was written on the walls of buildings ready to be demolished. Part of Green Lane Primary School is seen in the background on the left.
