Back Well Close Terrace
Description:

I lived at #10, five doors down on the left of this photo. This back street was the main route for all deliveries made by milk, bread, coal etc when I was a kid. November the 5th was the big event and a huge bonfire would be made in this back street when all the families would gather around and socialise.

Hi, I lived at 52 which is way down the street. I was only about 6/7 years old. Although it looks a little grim in the photo is was a great place. The ice cream van used to come down the back street and we bought ours while standing in the back garden next to the wall. The other side of the street on the corner with Blackman Lane was the post office and it was a maigical time on thursdays when I used to have a six pence to buy Topper, Beano, Beezer, Dandy or Sparky comics.
