Bruce Street, looking towards Bruce Place
Description:
Undated. Image shows a street of derelict terrace houses, presumably taken shortly before demolition. This is believed to be Bruce Street and from the left the numbering would have descended from 70 to 52. In the background, left, a gable end can be seen in Bruce Place. This belonged to property addressed at the front as number 72 Bruce Street and 71 Wallace Street at the rear. (The back yards of all the houses in Bruce Street opened onto Wallace Street.)
