Description:
Undated. View of an antiques shop at no.112 Lower Town Street, by the junction with Killingbeck Yard. Known as the Old House, this Grade II listed building has survived the building of a council estate all around it. Dating from about 1600 it is a rare example of a pre-industrial building which is still in existence today (2010). Flats in the background are in Snowden Vale and Snowden Lawn.
