Seacroft Library, the workroom

Seacroft Library, the workroom
1964. View of the staff work room in the brand new Seacroft Branch Library. Piles of books are waiting to be processed. This may involve pasting in a new date label or a spine label or perhaps fitting a new jacket. Older books would be brought in here for cleaning or minor repairs. The photograph was taken the year the library opened in 1964.
