Description:
15th October 1952. Group photograph taken on the terrace at Lotherton Hall at the wedding of Yvonne Gascoigne (1919-1973) and Lt. Charles Kynaston Studd, (1895-1959), seen centrally. Charles Kynaston Studd was the son of Edward Fairfax Studd, and Yvonne Gascoigne was the daughter of Sir Alvary Gascoigne, seen here at the right edge. Lotherton Hall was the Gascoigne family residence until acquired by Leeds City Council in 1968.
