Description:
c1970. Image shows an informal portrait of three of the staff who worked at Lotherton Hall for the Gascoigne family. Left is Mary Renwick, part-time secretary. In the centre is Bill Burlingham who was the Chauffer and General Handyman. He started work there at the age of 18 in 1933 and retired in 1980. He celebrated his 90th Birthday in 2005 and a party was held for him at Lotherton Hall. Phyllis Braithwaite, right, was the Housekeeper at Lotherton Hall for many years.
