Description: c1962. Aerial view of Seacroft showing housing development around North Parkway, which winds around the photo from the top left corner. The cleared area in the centre is ready for the building of the new shopping centre, with Seacroft Crescent and Seacroft Avenue around. York Road runs from left to right along the bottom, passing between the two tower blocks of Seacroft Gate. Other tower blocks visible are (from left) Brooklands Towers, Bailey Towers and Ramshead Heights. Hansby Avenue and Hansby Drive are seen at the bottom left. User Comments: Name: Lynn Richardson (nee Monaghan) Comment: Bottom righthand corner is the Windmill now an hotel. The ring road link from the windmill to barwick road has not yet constructed.
