Artist's impression of new flats in Sandmoor Court, Harrogate Road. The flats were in the process of construction and due for completion in early 1961. The development was advertised as 35 luxury flats (2 x 4 bedroomed, 16 x 3 bedroomed, 15 x 2 bedroomed and 1 studio) and each was to have a private 'sun balcony'. Sandmoor Court is built on seven storeys not including the ground and lower ground floors.
