Beckett Street, construction of tower blocks

Beckett Street, construction of tower blocks
Undated. View of Beckett Street showing the construction of tower blocks, surrounded by scaffolding. These are probably Shakespeare Towers and Shakespeare Court, opposite St. James's Hospital. In the background on the left are more tower blocks, believed to be Brignall Croft, Gargrave Court and Scargill Grange, off Gargrave Approach. Photograph courtesy of Stephen Howden.
