Cottingley Springs, gypsy and travellers site
2010. View across Cottingley Springs B site for gypsy and traveller families. The original site was established in 1969 by Leeds City Council.

User Comments:

I remember there being two gypsy camp sites in Holbeck, they may have been private don't know why I think this. One was located down Domestic Street if you had Holbeck Moor to your back this site was on the right. It seemed a fair size but had advertisment hoarding infront of it so could have been smaller. The other site was over the road from Holbeck wash-house, a more open view this one. Not sure how long these sites had been there but they were still there in the 60's
