To answer your question, Benjamin:- Space was needed to create Junction 2a on the M621. Unfortunately, the streets which you mention, and many others found themselves to be in the way, and were just swept aside. Moorville Grove was the road which ran off at a right-angle from Beeston Road to follow the boundary wall and railings of The Work House, to reach Cambrian Terrace. It is still there, but all the original houses which were on it have gone, and for some reason the name has been changed to Colville Terrace, a street that used to run parallel with Moorville Grove, but approximately fifty yards back up the hill. Why the change of name? I am not sure of its entirety but Cambrian Terrace is still there, as are the homes along it.If you log on to 'The Tracks In Time Web-Site' you will be able to compare maps of the area in question as it is now, to how you remember it. Their ærial pictures give further impact.
