1939-1945. View of tram tracks, taken during the Second World War in Richardshaw Lane. In the background is a mill manufacturing cloth. A sign on the exterior brick wall reads 'Makers of Unibrig, suitings, vicunas, serges, Gown Cloths, overcoatings; factory, Union Bridge Mills'. Union Bridge Mills was located in Roker Lane.
