View of Barwick Road at the junction with York Road, off camera,left,(as marked on an OS map for 1974)showing the Wimpy restaurant on the left and Crown Motors on the right. Nowadays, a branch of Netto occupies the unit where Wimpy is visible and it is addressed as York Road. Prior to that it had been a branch of Halfords. The 'Barwick Road roundabout' is just out of shot, past the garage to the right of centre.
