Description:
1911. View of workmen relaying tram track in York Road. In the foreground, left, is Waterloo Place, followed by Pea Street and Vetch Street. On the opposite side of York Road are advertisements for Sheldons Ltd., and Skipper Sardines. There is also an advert for the theatrical production of 'Hush Money'. This took place in the Theatre Royal, King Charles Croft on Monday 29th May 1911.
