Description:
September 1966. View of Leeds Bradford Airport showing construction work in progress. Much development was taking place at the time, with the building of a new passenger terminal and a control tower. In the background is the Flying Club House, opened in 1939 and intended as part of a larger administrative /terminal building but due to the outbreak of war the rest was never built.
