23rd August 1966.
Panoramic view of Leeds Bradford Airport. Much development was taking place at this time : a new runway had been completed in April the previous year and a new passenger terminal and control tower were in the process of being built. The control tower would be completed by July 1967 and the terminal in May 1968. This image is two separate photographs joined together therefore the image is not as clear as it should be.
