Description:
28th November 1966. Close-up view of the Lady Beck covering at Eastgate. The view, taken from underneath the covering, shows the beck flowing through a stone channel and under a bridge. An opening has been made in the covering while construction work is taking place.

this beck runs under the bus station , you could`nt see it again untill you came to the smiths pub at times the land at the rear of the pub flooded with water from the beck
