Description:
7th February 1966.
View shows the Rock Inn public house at the junction of Whitecote Lane (through the centre of the photo) with Leeds and Bradford Road (off the picture on the right). The area in the foreground is soon to be developed into Well Garth Bank while the area in the background is also due for redevelopment with most of the buildings to be demolished. The Rock Inn however survived and is still there today (2011).
