2007. View of the Palace Hotel located in Kirkgate. The inset, top left, shows a stained glass feature which can be found in the leaded windows on either side of the lobby and also on the door to the vaults. It is the old Melbourne Brewery sign depicting a bowing courtier. The sign to the side elevation is vintage and has been restored. The Melbourne Brewery (Leeds) Ltd., once located in Plum Street merged with Tetley in 1960.
