Image shows tram cars undergoing maintenance work at Kirkstall Road Tram Works on the south-west side of Kirkstall Road. Number 260, seen left, was originally a Dick Kerr open top double decker, one of 100 built in 1901. Between 1906 and 1913 49 of these cars were rebuilt and fitted with canopied four window fan light ventilated top covers.
