Description:
Pre 1914. View of a double decker tram photographed at Kirkstall Road Tram Works some time prior to World War I. This is one of a batch of 47 new cars, numbering 293 to 339 constructed here between July 1913 and April 1915. At this time John Baillie Hamilton was General Manager with offices in City Square. His home in 1913 was 'Kepstorn' in Spen Lane.
