Description:
c1939-1945. Image shows the platform of a tram belonging to one of a series numbered 340 to 369, photographed during World War II. This series was designed by General Manager & Engineer of Leeds Tramways, John Baillie Hamilton, between 1919 and 1923. The tram is likely to be at Kirkstall Road Tram Works on the south-west side of Kirkstall Road.
