Description:
Pre 1914. Image shows car number 280 at Kirkstall Road Tram Works, photographed some time prior to World War I. This is one of a series of 100 Dick Kerr double deckers, with reversed stairs, built in 1901. Advertising displayed on the side of the tram car is for Bermaline Bread. Bermaline Bread was produced by Montgomerie & Co, Ltd. of Glasgow & Haddington between 1897 and 1970.
