On the left is the Yorkshire Penny Bank at number 153 Harehills Road at the corner with Ashley Road. The gable ends of terraced streets can be seen at the junctions with Ashley Road. These are the Stanleys. The building at the right edge is the Police Station with the junction with Stanley Road just visible, far right. War-time markings are painted on the kerbs, bolisha beacons and lamp posts
