Image shows a tram car, number 60, at Kirkstall Road Tram Works, situated on the south-west side of Kirkstall Road. This is one of 25 cars built with British trucks in 1904. At that time J.B. Hamilton was the General Manager of Leeds City Tramways (1902-1925.) The tram has advertising for Whisky, Gossage's Dry Soap and Crawford's Butter Puffs. The trams in this series were withdrawn from service between 1928 and 1938.
