Princes Avenue, tram track sweeper
October 1934. Image shows a tram track sweeper in operation outside the main entrance to Roundhay Park on Princes Avenue. A young boy with a bicycle looks on, background left, in front of the tram shelter and ticket office. At this time the General Manager of Leeds City Tramways was W. Vane Morland (1931-1949). His name is printed on the side of the vehicle.

User Comments:

Could this be the tram stop opposite Roundhay Park main gate?
