Description:
Undated. View of the Cataloguing & Book Ordering Department located on the second floor of the Municipal Buildings, Calverley Street. It is in the room nowadays occupied by the Information Centre. The Cataloguing Department was established in 1927, initially with a staff of 6 people. From here the new books were processed and distributed to branches across the city.
