Undated. Image show's the red brick premises of Cecil Jacob's, tailor, at number 223 Harehills Lane. The shop was situated between Back Dorset Terrace and Dorset Terrace opposite Back Milan Street. The stone-built houses on the right front, Dorset Terrace but back on to Back Sandhurst Road.

We used to live above Cecil Jacobs at 1a Back Dorset Terrace, from around 1964 to 1967. I remember every November 5th, having a bonfire in the narrow street, with the paint on the wooden garage door blistering from the heat. Also remember a family called the Toolans?
